This blog is collective of sorts; everything that tickles my fancy, that got the wheels in my head turning, that got me nodding or tearing up to... it's bound to be in here somewhere.
Ada’s long regarded as a legend after Raccoon City, and the game drives that point further home; she’s just unmatched in the business.
Ada kept the dominant Plaga she retrieved from RE4/BH4 for herself and went off the grid.
While she detested Simmons, been shot at by Annette, wounded by William, been almost left to die by Wesker, she doesn’t exactly hold grudges and let past grievances cloud her better judgement.
She has her own plans. That are still unknown up to this point.
Also, it looks like 1974 as her year of birth no longer holds true. In her file, it was mentioned that her birthday is one of the many unknowns about her.
If Leon’s the King of Snark, she’s no doubt the Queen.
She talks to herself. She likes thinks out loud.
Girls just wanna have fa-un~
Ada and Derek
Ada has worked with Simmons before, but it has been 10 years since she left his employ. So, no, that wasn’t him that she screwed over at the end of Damnation.
She broke off ties with Simmons after she found that he was responsible for razing Raccoon City.
While their relationship had been strictly professional, Simmons may or may have not developed feelings for Ada. (Though one file seems to suggest he did.) One thing is certain, though: he greatly valued her skills and intelligence, and he intended to keep her by his side.
Ada leaving brought Simmons to the brink of obsession. In his mind, no one can ever replace her.
So for 10 years Simmons tried to create his own Ada, using up 12,235 test subjects. Not sure if Carla’s included in the count, but she’s that successful creation.
Ada and Wesker
She valued Wesker’s presence as he was instrumental to her plans, and felt an odd sort of emptiness when he died.
Which I find rather cute, in a twisted sort of way. He was responsible for giving her the grappling gun, after all.
Ada and Leon
15 years, and the feelings are still alive. Even if their relationship is as complicated as it can get.
She has no qualms with using Leon when it suits her needs. Even so, Leon is loath to break ties with her, and she obviously still cares about him and regards him with affection.
(But her mission always seems to come first.)
She just loves leaving Leon all these things with kiss marks, but we’ve already established that in 2004. It’s nice to see continuity, though, especially when she left him that rocket launcher because she’d be too busy to throw it to him.
She has officially accepted her role as Leon’s bodyguard. LOL.
